 Here is a great little tamper. The base is made of milled stainless steel and the handle is lathe turned natural wood. The light toned wood has different grain marks on each tamper so what you get may look slightly different than those pictured here. These tampers are simple but very well made, attractive and eminently functional.

This tamper will suit the vast majority of Atomic type coffee makers: those manufactured in Italy (Robbiati), Hungary (Qualital), Austria (Stella), India (unknown) and the modern La Sorrentina machines (made in Taiwan).

Atomic type coffee makers require only a moderate tamp unless you use a coarsely ground coffee. Never use powdery coffee in an Atomic type coffee maker.
