This box of assorted mochi is just the thing when you need a sweet – but not too sweet – treat to go with a cup of green tea or barley tea. The glutinous rice cake sweets are especially popular in Japan and Taiwan.

• Green tea with green tea paste filling
• Sesame with red bean paste filling

Mochi have a pillowy-soft, chewy texture that’s almost a cross between marshmallow and bubblegum. Each box contains 15 pieces of mochi.
