Vintage Art Deco Cast Iron Wall-Mounted Coffee Grinder

We couldn’t find a makers mark or logo anywhere on this grinder- it looks to date from the 1930’s or 40’s and is almost certainly made in Western Europe. The grinder is solidly made out of cast iron. At some stage in the past someone has repainted it somewhat naively (the 1970’s I bet- they painted over everything in the 70’s), … You could strip the paint and re-do it more in the original style…. it is a quality piece and worth the effort. Under the red stripe on the front the word Cafe is legible but has been painted over. The grinder is tested and works very well- it is ready to go- and would look great mounted on a kitchen wall.
